Its body was covered in thick mineral-colored scales that blended almost perfectly with the surrounding cliffs, making visual detection extremely difficult until it entered open terrain.
Although previous ESO expeditions had documented countless alien species across different planetary systems, no known reptilian organism in the agency's archives matched the physical characteristics recorded on TOI-715 b.
Defensive Response
As David continued recording the animal, onboard threat assessment software suddenly upgraded the encounter from passive observation to an active hostile event.
The creature accelerated directly toward the astronaut.
